Hope and Sadness

Jubilee Crown is an in-development tabletop roleplaying game of a woodland fantasy of hope and sadness. Players take on the role of anthropomorphic animal folk in a middle age society who are in a time of tumult as their society is buckling under the gradual loss of their minds and personhood. Why is this happening? Because the Jubilee Crown, a gift from the witch Sycorax which blessed them with minds and personhood for fifty years, has begun to break. The witch was supposed to return to renew it, but has gone missing.

Can you find the witch to save your people? Will you fight or scheme to keep your society from falling apart in civil war in the meanwhile? Will you focus on your own profit or the rise of your own house during this time of upset?

Striving Against the End

This game is a melancholy one, where one is at risk of losing what makes them a person as they strive to make a difference in a society on the verge of possible collapse.

It uses the Omens system with a handful of six-sided dice and one twelve-sided die that is strongly influenced by the Trophy system and the Lumen system. It's setting of animal people in a fantasy world hearken to influences like Brian Jacque's Redwall series, the Root board game franchise, and Possum Creek's Wanderhome.

Jubilee Crown is in active development. This is an early access playtest of the game. The core mechanics and setting are provided, but only a small subset of the character templates: your kith, your backstory, and your calling, are yet being provided. Everything is subject to change as it evolves during the playtest process.
