Blue Wing is sci-fi tabletop RPG of romance and resistance by Kyle Weems.

Resistance

The galaxy has fallen into the clutches of the oppressive Corporate Star Alliance, a plutocratic hegemony that is stripping planets of their resources and occupying worlds with autocratic military garrisons, plunging thousands of worlds into poverty and oppressing for their own gain. Players take on the role of starfighter pilots in the Galactic Resistance, a hard-scrabble force cobbled together from remnants of the overthrown Union of Stars and home-grown rebellions seeking to bring hope and freedom to a galaxy that has forgotten both. Outmanned and outgunned, the pilots of Blue Wing must depend on each other in their desperate struggle, relying on their mutual love and friendship to have even a remote chance of victory.

Romance

The pilots of Blue Wing engage in extreme space asymmetrical space battles against superior forces. Their only chance for survival lies within the romances and rivalries they form with fellow pilots, as the tension of these relationships encourage them to fighter harder with the Blue Wing's Heartsurge system. Blue Wing has a little bit of something for everyone, with romance, rivalry, and space combat all sharing an equal space at the table.

With multiple species and backstories from pilots to choose from, various starfighter profiles and roles, robot sidekicks, and occasional epic mustaches, Blue Wing forces its characters into taut emotional dramas and squeezes desperate heroics out them in combat.

The game has been in hold in a playtesting phase. The current rough draft playtest is 104 pages long.
